About the proposition

Know who is negotiating—and how they are paid.

Pearl Lemon Procurement is a focused offering within Pearl Lemon Group. The job is specific: identify material supplier contracts where better terms may be achievable, negotiate within an agreed brief and show finance the evidence behind any claimed saving.

Who stands behind the brand

Part of Pearl Lemon Group.
Focused on supplier costs.

You can read about the wider organisation, its history and leadership on the Pearl Lemon Group website. This is a newer specialist procurement proposition. We will not attribute group-wide experience to completed procurement assignments that have not been documented.

Before an assignment begins, the proposal should identify the contracting business, the supplier categories under review, access and confidentiality arrangements, who can authorise supplier contact and how the fee will be calculated.

Before you pay a success fee, ask what changed.

Was the unit price reduced? Did minimum commitments rise? Are emergency calls now excluded? Does the new agreement shift more risk to your operations team? An apparent discount is only useful once those questions are answered.

Supplier quotes can be gathered quickly. Determining whether they are equivalent, dependable and implementable is harder. The work requires purchasing data, contract knowledge, finance input and an authorised negotiating mandate.

How we approach the work

We propose a scoped review of the contracts worth pursuing, followed by direct commercial negotiations and documented savings verification. Your company decides which supplier terms to adopt and signs its own contracts.

Our intended fee model is a percentage of verified first-year savings, agreed in writing before substantive work. We do not treat a hypothetical saving as a completed result.

What you can ask us to show you.

Ask for the proposed savings baseline, the contract categories that will be examined, the decision record and the precise fee trigger. You should be able to see why a new supplier is comparable and who signs off the result. Client results can be published when independently substantiated and the appropriate permissions exist.

For the first conversation, we need only your business profile, approximate negotiable annual supplier spend and decision timeframe. Confidential contracts belong in a secure, agreed process—not the public enquiry form.

The next step

A commercial fit worth checking?

If your business has £5m or more of negotiable annual external spend—and ideally £10m+—we can assess whether a defined savings mandate is worth discussing.
